On Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. (HI)/ Sunday, November 5, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (GU) the University of Hawai’i Cancer Center and the University of Guam Cancer Research Center will be hosting the fourth Health Providers Cancer Symposium – Pacific Region. Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death and one of the most prevalent types of cancer in both men and women, with associated health disparities affecting Pacific Island Populations. Please join us as we explore lung cancer and lung cancer screening across the Pacific.
This hybrid event is FREE and will be hosted both in-person at the University of Hawai’i Cancer Center and virtually via Zoom. All health providers (Guam, Hawai’i, and the USAPIs), members of Cancer Coalitions or cancer care organizations, and members in the community who are interested or involved in cancer-related work or research are invited to join!
