The Center for Minority Health and Health Disparities Research and Education (CMHDRE) at the Xavier University of Louisiana’s College of Pharmacy will host its 18th Health Disparities Conference on March 9-11, 2025 at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana. The 2025 conference, titled Collaborative Solutions for Health Equity: Sustaining Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) Models will examine how SDOH solutions – designed with community input and grounded in data – can be integrated into policy and everyday practice to address health disparities effectively. Through a mix of general session, interactive workshops, and solution-driven working groups, participants will engage with real-world examples, collaborative frameworks, and actionable tools for creating and sustaining health equity. This conference will emphasize practical steps for securing the longevity and scalability of social determinants of health initiatives, ensuring they continue to benefit under-resourced communities in the face of shifting societal needs and resources.
